For this version, I completely reinterpreted the song in my own style, without using any backing tracks. I recorded all the parts myself: vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards, effects, and drums, using a Boss Dr. Rhythm DR-770 drum machine, although it does not appear in the video. I wanted to respect the essence of Pink Floyd’s sound, atmosphere, EQ, and dynamics, while taking the song into a slightly more psychedelic and personal direction. At certain moments, this version has a feeling that reminds me of their Meddle era, with a more spacious, organic, and experimental approach. This cover is a personal tribute to Pink Floyd’s sound and to the emotional power of Brain Damage / Eclipse. Recorded, performed, and produced by Samaleon.
