Reason+ Subscription... My thoughts plus trying out some of the sound packs!

The subscription is here, and if we look objectively we can see that it is a good thing for a lot of people. It's those of us that have invested that are the most concerned! I feel like they're being super respectful by offering a paid version as well... as long as it stays that way the consumer always has options! This will also drive the company to keep putting out great stuff (synths and updates) to keep the subscribers going, which will just benefit those who buy the license outright. But I totally understand the concerns of those that fear the worst from one of our favourite music-making software. I am getting to know the great people at RS, and I am confident that they will always give their customers the choice! The sound packs show some promise for being a great resource for sound inspiration and presets. However, they each contain a very small amount of content. I think they will be much more enticing after the amount of sound packs gets a lot bigger. (which will happen in a short amount of time if they keep releasing them weekly) Disclaimer: I was a paid customer of Reason since Reason 1. I did purchase Reason 11 Suite, and since then, Reason studios has been giving me the newest software for free, but I've never been paid money to make videos and my thoughts are always my own!
