BGP - What is the Local Preference BGP Attribute?

But what is this attribute and why is it important? In this video, I'll be examining how LOCAL_PREF is used and why it is important in choosing the best path. Border Gateway Protocol, or BGP, is a routing protocol that uses a series of attributes to determine the best path through large networks such as the Internet. These attributes are examined in a standardized and predefined sequential order.
