A young man from Mthatha in the Eastern Cape used some of the NSFAS money he received a few years ago, to start a chick-raising business. Ngcali Takata, a Medical Sciences graduate, says he started the business to help his family. It was difficult at first, especially to source additional funding, but things are looking up now.
