Adidas Terrex Agravic SL Preview - Del asfalto a conquistar el trail fácil / gravel run

https://www.trailrunningreview.com/es... Adidas Terrex Agravic SL Preview - From Asphalt to Conquering Easy Trail Running / Gravel Running At the adidas Terrex booth during The Running Event, one of the most interesting new additions to the brand's trail running collection was unveiled. These are the new adidas Terrex Agravic SL, a completely new model within the Terrex family, born with a very clear idea: to offer a trail running shoe designed especially for runners coming from asphalt who want to start running on the trails. In fact, the SL has earned a huge place on the road, so they want to bring that success to easy trail running. The result is a shoe that maintains certain asphalt-specific features—especially in geometry and dynamics—but is ready to move confidently on easy paths and trails. Within adidas' trail running collection, the Agravic SL is positioned as an everyday shoe, ideal for training and for those just starting out in this discipline. Compared to more radical models in the Agravic line, such as the Speed or Speed Ultra, this one offers a more forgiving option: with more cushioning, greater comfort, and no rigid plate in the midsole, resulting in a more adaptable feel and a more competitive price. One of the key features of this model is its Lightstrike Pro midsole, adidas' most responsive compound. This compound is designed for a dynamic and agile stride, offering a fast shoe within its category. Although the Terrex range includes options more geared towards pure competition, the Agravic SL could work perfectly as a running shoe for recreational or heavier runners looking for something fast yet relatively comfortable. The shoe also features a fairly pronounced rocker, designed to facilitate the transition of the stride and provide that fluid feeling while running. This makes it a particularly interesting option for less technical or compact terrain, where its rolling characteristics can be better utilized. As is typical of adidas Terrex, the outsole features a Continental compound. The design combines lugs approximately 3.5 to 4 mm in diameter, with varying degrees of prominence depending on the area: slightly less aggressive in the central part and more pronounced on the sides and rear to improve traction. It's not a particularly aggressive outsole, so it will perform best on compact terrain or easy trails, although it maintains some versatility for different surfaces. The upper clearly prioritizes comfort. It offers good padding and toe protection to provide security on the terrain, but without going to the minimalist level of other more competitive models in the Terrex collection. Everything is designed to offer comfort, especially for those taking their first steps in trail running. In short, the adidas Terrex Agravic SL arrives as a new addition to the adidas catalog with a clear objective: to become an entry point to trail running. A comfortable, dynamic, and versatile shoe, also very suitable for door-to-trail runs or easy terrain runs that combine asphalt and paths.
