Sunrise Over St. Stephen Church Under Construction | Sofia, Bulgaria | 4K Drone Video
St. Stephen Church in the Gotse Delchev district of Sofia has been under construction for more than a decade. Dedicated to St. Stephen the Protomartyr and Archdeacon, the church is one of the most ambitious contemporary religious construction projects in Bulgaria. Originally planned to become the second largest Orthodox church in Sofia after St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the project was later redesigned to a smaller scale due to funding limitations. This video presents the current state of construction as seen from the air during a peaceful sunrise flight over the site.
