In this lesson you will learn what classifiers are and how to use them in Mandarin Chinese, or 量詞 (liàng cí). Classifiers are a grammatical class that doesn't exist in Portuguese, but they are very similar to collective nouns. The grammatical structure for inserting a classifier into a sentence is: Number + classifier + noun.
