A Shared Toddler Room + Playroom Tour || Minimalism & Waldorf Inspired
In this video I’m giving you a tour of our Waldorf inspired shared toddler bedroom and playroom. If you live in 2 bedroom home or small space and your children have to share a room, this video is for you. No closet? No problem. Im showing you how we make the most of our space AND keep it all organized. We strive for beauty, quality, and simplicity in everything we let through the front door. My children are 14 months apart, and are now 2 and 3 years old. They have shared a room since my second one was born, so if you have any questions on how we've made this work so well, I'm happy to answer them! We’ve been so inspired by the teachings of Rudolf Steiner and have slowly made changes toward implementing a Waldorf lifestyle for our family. For us, that has meant simplifying our space, following a daily rhythm, limiting toys that are over stimulating and don’t leave much room for imagination, getting the children involved with daily chores and meal preparation, spending most of our days outside or in nature, and cutting way down on screen time. While there is not a day that goes by that is ever picture perfect, this lifestyle has slowed the pace and changed our lives in the best ways, and I’m always finding more ways to improve upon that peace and simplicity that I love to share so much. If you are a fellow Waldorf-er, let me know in the comments below! I still have much to learn. If this is the first time you have heard of Waldorf, consider this a sign that you just landed on something quite special and it might be exactly what you’ve been yearning for for your family. :) Also, just want to say how uncomfortably aware I now am of the fact that I overuse the word "little." You learn new things about yourself when you have to see and hear yourself playedd back a million times in editing haha! I'll work on that! :) For more inspo, follow me on Instagram! https://www.instagram.com/ericahoytar...
