I visited Grimsby to see what the town is really like away from the usual headlines. Walking through the streets, I found rubbish left around, abandoned-looking properties, empty roads, and loads of For Sale and Sold boards across the area. Some parts felt forgotten, while other areas showed signs of real local life and history. After exploring Grimsby, I also went over to Cleethorpes to see the contrast by the seaside.
