NOTE: I keep saying 41 khz when I meant 44 khz.. but the details are all true-- anything above 40 khz sampling is good enough for anything that won't involve much more processing. Note that CD's use 44khz at 16 bits. Nowadays, 44 khz at 24 bits is the standard.
