RAF Chinook Refuel in Caernarfon Airport (ZK550) - Such an Amazing Sound!

This Chinook surprised us yesterday as we were trying to beat the Coastguard's S-92 helicopter back to base so we could film it properly. I got out of the car, into my wheelchair and I could see a helicopter coming over the mountains. To my pleasant surprise as I got the camera set up in a hurry, an RAF Chinook (ZK550), rounded the corner and made an approach. Caernarfon Airport is home to the Air Ambulance, the Coastguard and more and has been used for quick refuels like this for as long as I can remember. We even used to get up in the air from Mona Airfield when I was learning to fly, and head straight to Caernarfon to fuel up. We did catch the Sikorsky too, but that will have to be a later video.
