Customizing the Shutter Button in Movie Mode - EOS R5 Mark 2 Tip 43

In movie mode on Canon EOS R cameras, the shutter release doesn't actually start recording. In fact, by default it simply starts movie servo AF and metering. However, this can be changed. Unlike any other customization button on Canon's R series cameras, the shutter release's function in movie mode is not configured through the standard button customization menu. Instead there's an entirely separate "shutter button function for movies" setting found on when the camera is set to movie mode, and which controls the half and full-press functions on the shutter in that mode. In this video we'll look at this customization, and talk about some of the configurations that make the most sense to use, as well as why you might want to avoid having the shutter release pull double duty.
