ENGINE ASSEMBLY ANIMATION WITH PART NAMES LABELLED
IN THIS VIDEO OF DIESEL ENGINE ASSEMBLY ANIMATION WE HAVE GIVEN NAMES TO THE PARTS SO THAT YOU CAN EASILY UNDERSTAND IT. #megafactory #engineeringspirit #documentary caterpillar C13 diesel engine assembly animation with its parts labelled in the video The Caterpillar C13 is an inline-6 diesel internal combustion engine made by Caterpillar. The engine is 12.5 liters in displacement (763 cubic inches). The cylinder size is 5.12 x 6.18 bore/stroke. The engine can produce 380-430 horsepower at 2100 RPM. The peak torque occurs at an engine speed of 1200 RPM.[2] The engine weighs over one ton at 2610 pounds. The Cat C13 is often used in Class 8 vehicles (tractor-trailers). The Gleaner A85 is a Gleaner combine harvester that uses the C13, and it is considered a class 8 vehicle. In the A85 as well as in fire trucks, it is rated at a higher horsepower diesel engine part name car part name car part animation video learn to assemble engine learn the names of engine parts how many parts are there in engine how engines are assembled #ENGINEASSEMBLYANIMATION #CATERPILLARC-175 #ENGINEANIMATION #ENGINEERINGSPIRIT IN THIS VIDEO OF CATERPILLAR ENGINE ASSEMBLY ANIMATION WE HAVE ADDED THE NAMES OF ALL THE SUB-ASSEMBLIES/PARTS SO THAT THE VIEWERS COULD UNDERSTAND WHICH PART IS ASSEMBLING WHERE (ONLY FOR REFERENCE,THERE MIGHT BE SOME ERRORS) SPECIALLY ENGINEERING STUDENTS. engine assembly animation working of diesel engine animation engine parts animation The Caterpillar C175 is a family of diesel internal combustion engines made by Caterpillar. The engine is 5.3 litres per cylinder in displacement. The cylinder size is 6.89 x 8.66 bore/stroke. The engine can produce 1500-4800 horsepower at 1800 RPM. The peak torque occurs at an engine speed of 1500 RPM Working of 4 stroke diesel engine A four-cycle engine works with 4 basic steps to a successful rotation of the crankshaft: the intake, compression, power and exhaust stroke. Each engine cylinder has four openings for the intake, exhaust, spark plug and fuel injection. The piston is driven by the engine's crankshaft whereas the intake and exhaust valves are driven by the camshaft. The crankshaft and camshaft are connected by a timing belt/chain to maintain synchronization between them. The various processes comprising the cycles of a four-stroke engine are explained below: Intake Stroke: The intake stroke is where the intake valves are open and the air is drawn into the cylinder. The fuel injector sprays the fuel into the cylinder to achieve the perfect air-fuel ratio. The downward movement of the piston causes the air and fuel to be sucked into the cylinder. Compression Stroke: The next is the compression cycle where both the intake and exhaust valves are closed. The upward movement of the piston causes the air-fuel mixture to be compressed upwards towards the spark plug. The compression makes the air-fuel combination volatile for easier ignition. Combustion/Power Stroke: During the power/combustion stroke, both the intake and exhaust valves are still closed. The spark plug produces a spark to ignite the compressed air-fuel mixture. The resulting energy of the combustion forcefully pushes the piston downward. Exhaust Stroke: The last cycle is the exhaust stroke, when the exhaust valves open and the exhaust gases are forced up by the returning piston.
