Caprock Canyons is a Texas State Park located in the panhandle of Texas. It is home to the Texas State Bison Herd. These magnificent creatures free roam the park...and the trails. What we love about Caprock Canyons State Park: 1. Large Sites 2. Wildlife - bison, prairie dogs, deer... 3. Lots to do - fishing, hiking, scenic drive, watch sunrises and sunsets, wildlife viewing 4. Scenic area and scenic drive What we didn't love about Caprock Canyons State Park: 1. Verizon was unstable Caprock Canyons State Park is a must see if you are traveling through the Texas panhandle.
