Manny LaCarruba uses free software to measure and "tune" the club Linkwitz LX521.4 speakers to perform better in the room at CHRS. This is a working session as Manny creates a better acoustic presentation through the intricacies of speaker placement, acoustical measurement, and digital techniques to balance our speakers sound in a challenging room. Manny LaCarrubba is an acoustical consultant and loudspeaker designer with 30+ years of experience spanning professional recording studios, architectural acoustics, loudspeaker invention, and high-end residential and commercial audio systems. Manny is renowned for integrating loudspeaker/room interaction, wide-dispersion waveguide technology, and DSP-based system calibration to achieve consistent, reference-quality sound.
