User review: In this video, André introduces us to the new Somfy TaHoma® switch. This latest-generation home automation hub allows you to control all your devices remotely and automatically, offering comfort, security, and a simpler life. A QR code is included in the packaging of your smart hub to download the TaHoma® app, available on iOS and Android. You'll also find a QR code to help you activate it with Apple HomeKit. On the top of the hub, two buttons allow you to launch scenarios. André uses the two top buttons to program a scenario for leaving home (closing his shutters, turning off his lights, and activating his home alarm) and another for returning home. Installing this device is very simple. Connect the power cable to your hub before configuring and activating it using its dedicated app by adding all your devices. The TaHoma® switch is capable of pairing io and RTS devices. André was also able to connect all his Legrand, Netatmo, Philips Hue, and Sonos devices thanks to TaHoma®'s compatibility with major home brands. André uses the app to adjust the opening and closing of his shutters, to turn his lights on and off, and to choose the color of his lighting. The new MY and Discreet functions are also available. Thanks to TaHoma®, André can organize and group all his devices by room. André can also configure the two scenario launch buttons on the TaHoma® switch using the app. Three types of scenarios are available: manual launch, scheduled for a specific time of day, or advanced scenarios that launch based on a schedule, alarm activation, light level, temperature, or other sensor readings. Finally, André also uses the "Scheduled Scenario" function to manage his devices according to his lifestyle and the "Favorites" function where he saves scenarios or devices he wants to access easily.
