Creepy Hospital Employee Does Unthinkable to Co-Workers. Gets 44 Yrs in Prison.
This is the story of Steven Weis from West Bend , Wisconsin. He worked in IT at the Froedtert West Bend Hospital which is a level 4 trauma hospital outside of Milwaukee. You will see at the beginning of this video that detectives went to Steven's workplace to confront him about allegations regarding criminal activity from his home (apartment/condo complex). There had been numerous reports that he was seen filming people without their consent. During a police interview Steven agreed to let officers search his home as part of the original investigation. That search did not go well for Steven as they not only found evidence (over 10,000 images) that he was filming people from home but they uncovered that he was also filming people at work by using a hidden camera he had setup in the bathroom. In total he had filmed 99 different employees at the hospital. He was charged with dozens of felonies and eventually pleaded no contest to 31 counts, many of the remaining counts were dismissed as part of the plea agreement. He was sentenced to 44 years in prison and 35 years extended supervision. He is currently in prison. 00:11 Detectives visit Hospital 04:39 Police Search Apartment 05:18 Shocking Discovery
