Today at Ugly Truck, we're fabricating an air conditioning compressor bracket for a squarebody LS swap. We like using the stock compressor in the stock location, but we've always hated notching the frame on these trucks. So Jerry designed and built this bracket to tuck the compressor in as close to the engine as possible. It's a lot of work, but this bracket gets us an extra inch of clearance and clears the frame, no problem! Plus, using the donor compressor saves a few hundred bucks, and using a stretch fit belt keeps it clean and simple.
