Silverfire Scout Stove (Extended Trip Optimized)
It took a long time to decide whether the Silverfire Scout was practical enough as a long-term primary stove but after more than a year of use and experimentation, it's the best, most practical back-packing, bio-mass stove available. For me, this stove is better for transport in a pack than the Solo Stove, and much better performing than smaller chamber stoves like the Four-Dogs Bush Buddy or limited application BioLite stove which I find heavy, bulky and a bit gimmicky with a low output USB and noisy operation. This stove is available in two different material versions and each in four difference kit configurations. I've including links to four examples but be sure to look at all their offerings. http://www.silverfire.us/new-for-2014... http://www.silverfire.us/ultimate-sco... http://www.silverfire.us/brushed-304-... http://www.silverfire.us/new-304-ss-u...
