Hi everyone, I'm back with another awesome vlog 🥳 In this vlog i went on a exciting adventure to Wewak, the capital of East Sepik Province in Papua New Guinea! This trip was packed with incredible sights, sounds, and flavors that I'm so excited to share with you all🥰❤️ Although I didn't get to visit Kairuru Island or the Sepik River this time, I'm already planning my return trip🥳 There's just so much to see and experience in the beautiful Sepik region from East Sepik to West Sepik 😍 My first stop was the vibrant Wewak Town Market. It's a sensory explosion🥰🥳 The market overflows with fresh fish caught daily, colorful fruits and vegetables straight from the garden, and amazing arts and crafts🥹😍 I was particularly impressed by the intricate bilums (string bags) and woven baskets. The energy of the market is infectious, and it's a must-see for any visitor😍 Wewak is blessed with stunning white sandy beaches. I spent time exploring a few of them😍 Manny Beach⛱️ Right in the heart of town😍 It's easily accessible and perfect for a quick dip. Wom Beach🌴 A beautiful stretch of coastline offering tranquility and stunning views😍⛱️🌴 Cape Wom Memorial Park: A historical site with breathtaking coastal scenery and a serene atmosphere 😍 Wewak offers more than just beaches, I also visited😍 Boys Town😍 A community dedicated to helping young boys showcasing the heart of Wewak. Wewak Hill🌴 Offering panoramic views of the town and the stunning Kairuru Island in the distance🥰 Moem Army Barracks🥳 A glimpse into East Sepik Province military presence. Boram Point & Boram Beach⛱️ More beautiful coastal spots to explore. A significant moment of my trip was visiting the burial site of the Late Grand Chief Sir Michael Somare at Kreer Heights🇵🇬. It was a important experience, paying respects to a monumental figure in Papua New Guinea's history especially when Papua New Guinea is looking forward to celebrating 50 years of anniversary🇵🇬🙏. Of course, no trip is complete without indulging in the local cuisine! I had the chance to try some amazing local dishes, and the flavors were incredible. I definitely recommend trying the fresh seafood! Thank you, Wewak, for your incredible hospitality🥹😍 I was blown away by the warmth and friendliness of the people. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful part of Papua New Guinea.
