This is my third speedrun attempt. Initially, our goal was to break into the sub-7-minute range, targeting a clear time of 6m59s, after finalizing our rotation, we actually achieved 6m55s and realized there was room for further improvement. We re-optimized the rotation to aim for 6m53s, but surprisingly ended up at 6m51s by WTF RNG. Seeing potential for even faster clears, we adjusted our cleave strategy to kill squirrels quicker, theoretically reaching an optimal time of 6m49s. Despite grinding for 6 days until the last day before patch 7.3, we unfortunately couldn't surpass our previous record. In total, we spent more than two months—from May 24th to August 4th, up to the day before patch 7.3—investing approximately 195 hours. During the ADD phase, we pushed the limit by strategically triggering LB3+3. This section was particularly risky due to the tight health margins, especially challenging during the desert phase where executing LB proved quite difficult and required extensive practice. We employed a specialized ADD strategy, where healers generated excessive healing aggro to attract Mus, later grouping them with Yan for our tank to handle using invulnerability across two waves. Each water puddle placement was meticulously calculated, quantifying each animal's HP and determining the required cleave damage to eliminate them efficiently, with any remaining damage addressed afterward. In ADD phase, I do not use and AOE damage, focusing solely on cleave, primarily targeting the boss throughout, except briefly switching for the Jabberwock. At the end, we had our SCH deliberately take a hit from Wave 4's Cat with yellow AOE, take damage down 30% in 30s. This reduced a buff stack on the Cat, delaying its enrage to align perfectly with our 2m burst for more efficient cleave. We gained approximately 3/8 of the Cat's HP (around 410k damage), while the SCH's damage down debuff resulted in about 100k less damage during, netting an overall gain of about 300k damage. Finally, after placing the water puddle at the bottom-right, our PLD protected me from lethal AOE. For the Gear, I used the 2.50s BIS setup.
