You WON’T Get PIP If You Do This… (That’s a Myth)

People with MS and other disabilities are constantly told: “You won’t get PIP if you do that.” That belief causes fear, guilt, and people underselling themselves — or not applying at all. In this video, I explain what PIP is actually assessed on, why doing things like exercising, driving, or having a good day does not automatically disqualify you, and how the system looks at typical ability, not your best moments. This is not legal advice. It’s a plain-English explanation of how PIP assessments work, based on guidance and lived experience. PIP is about whether you can do activities: • safely • to an acceptable standard • repeatedly • in a reasonable time Living your life does not cancel your disability. If this video helps you, please share it — misinformation spreads fast, and this myth causes real harm. ☕ Support the channel: https://buymeacoffee.com/myelinandme
