Farmers' Mini Cold Storage is now a groundbreaking initiative to preserve perishable vegetables and fruits, which are most at risk in the context of climate change. This cold storage keeps agricultural products fresh for 15-21 days by storing them at a temperature of 5-8 degrees Celsius. This reduces wastage, does not have to be sold at low prices in the market, as a result, farmers' income increases and balance is achieved in the country's agricultural market management. In the reality of Bangladesh's climate and agriculture, these small cold storages are becoming a supporting force for sustainable agriculture for small and marginal farmers. It is effectively playing a role in protecting the sustainability and quality of agricultural products in vegetable producing regions. It is noteworthy that these 100 Farmers' Mini Cold Storages, implemented under the Climate Change Trust Fund at the initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture, are being provided completely free of charge to entrepreneurs in the country.
