how I'm starting a new Yiddish learning journey | creating my own road map!

I'm so beyond excited to FINALLY start to learn Yiddish. Learning this language feels really meaningful to me, as it's a way to connect to my heritage (which I currently have a very tenuous relationship to). I'm starting from scratch as an ultra beginner, which I haven't done in a really long time in any language. And looking into resources for a technically endangered language held some really cool surprises! Workers Circle Yiddish classes start this week - if you want to join me, you can sign up here! https://www.circle.org/yiddish Note: I have since reached out to The Workers Circle about working together on this journey. They said yes! They will very generously be gifting me my Beginners 1 class and in exchange I will consistently vlog about my progress over the next few months. But let me be very clear that I am NOT going to be paid and that my opinions/experiences that I share are my own!!
