The Nachi Fan Festival is a traditional festival held at Kumano Nachi Taisha Shrine, a World Heritage Site in Wakayama Prefecture. Nurse Teruyuki Uechi (41) will be taking on this festival, also known as the "Nachi Fire Festival." The torch he carries weighs 45 kg.
