How To Convert A Nissan 720 2WD Instrument Cluster To 4WD & Why You Need To Run A Vehicle Report.

Hey there, Dr Rob The Car Doctor here and I have been making great progress on restoring White Lighting Max #2. A 1986 Nissan 720 ST Truck 4x4 Extra Cab with the RARE Electro Injection Z24I fuel injection system. The reason I shot this video is two-fold: #1 I wanted to share with you a GREAT Tip when purchasing a used vehicle and that is to ALWAYS do a vehicle background check. I personally prefer CARFAX because they are very detailed. When I ran the CARFAX on White Lighting Max #2, there was a big difference between the actual miles, and the miles on the speedometer. I then used this information to negotiate a better sales price with the owner who did not know the mileage was off. #2 Well today I found out what happened, White Lighting Max #2 is a 4x4 truck and when I went to go test the 4x4 system, the green 4WD indicator light did not come on. Upon closer inspection, I found out that someone had installed a 2WD dash into the truck. In the video I also explain how to convert the 2WD instrument cluster, into a 4WD instrument cluster. Enjoy!
