📖 School of Prayer | Practical Prayer Training This morning’s podcast was a practical class on how to use Scripture in prophetic declarations and petitions. Our focus was Isaiah 45:1-3. In the School of Prayer, Scripture is everything. We began with three important foundations: 1. Submitting to God through His Word Prayer is not first about forcing our desires on God. It begins with surrendering to what God has already spoken. When we submit to the Word, we align our prayers with His will. 2. Depending completely on God God said concerning Cyrus: "I will take hold of your right hand..." This means Cyrus would not fight the battle by his own strength. In prayer, we learn to depend on God to hold our hand, lead us, and fight battles we cannot fight by ourselves. 3. Walking step by step with God Isaiah 45 shows us that God goes before us. He levels mountains. He breaks gates of bronze. He cuts through bars of iron. He gives hidden treasures. But we must walk with Him step by step. Prayer is not just speaking words. Prayer is partnership with God through His Word. When God says, "I will go before you," we declare: Father, go before me and make every crooked place straight. When God says, "I will break the gates of bronze," we declare: Every gate resisting my advancement, break in the name of Jesus. When God says, "I will give you hidden treasures," we declare: Father, release the treasures and resources assigned to my destiny.
