Wrestling Bios Presents - The WWF Career of Ahmed Johnson Ahmed Johnson was introduced to WWE wrestling fans in 1995 after he had a brief stint in the GWF. Vince McMahon watched a tape featuring Ahmed Johnson and immediately flew him to Stamford, Conneticut to begin contract negotiations. Ahmed was put on WWE TV Shows straight away, becoming a babyface in the company and making an impact by slamming Yokozuna early in his WWF run. From here, Ahmed Johnson would be featured as an upper midcard wrestling superstar, going on to get featured in some big matches. He won the Intercontinental Championship at the 1996 King of The Ring, and many felt that this would be Ahmed's big push into the main event scene in the WWF. Things didn't quite work out that way. Ahmed would go on to feud with Faarooq and the Nation of Domination and, eventually, Ahmed Johnson would join the Nation after turning on The Undertaker.
