Making a 1940's Inspired Jumpsuit out of Vintage Linens with Simplicity 1930
In this weeks video we are making a pair of overalls/jumpsuit/dungarees inspired some beautiful linens I picked up at the thrift store and by Simplicity pattern 1930 (which I recently discovered was published in 1936 not the 40's!). Once again this is a mash up pattern where we are deviating from the original by swapping out the top bib/bodice portion. Instead of using a second vintage pattern however we are drafting out a new pattern of our own. This video - both filming and editing took far longer than I had wanted and it seems it has been ages since I was on YouTube sharing an adventure with you all. Summers at our house tend to get busy and having time for adventures in the sewing room becomes more difficult. Thank you all for sticking around and tuning in to check out the latest make. I hope you all enjoy the video and this new vintage inspired jumpsuit as much as I do. Wishing you all well and happy sewing!
