We called it The Botswana Trip and in this episode I feature the magical Nxai Pan National Park, which is not only a Botswana overlanding hotspot, but also a wildlife haven! We camped at South Camp in Nxai Pans and spent most of our time around Nxai Pan Waterhole near South Camp itself. Because it was so hot and dry, the waterhole attracted loads of general game, 100's of elephants and a big pride of lions as well. In this video I share some Botswana overlanding tips that will be very helpful to anyone doing a Botswana self drive safari from Kubu Island to Nxai Pan National Park, including distances, road conditions, best stands for camping as well as game viewing tips. Although this was my first time at Nxai Pans, it has become one of my new favourite destinations in Botswana and I can't wait to go back!
