Abraham & The Promise
In this episode, we continue walking through the book of Genesis by exploring the life of Abraham who's known as the father of our faith. After humanity's rebellion at the Tower of Babel, God begins a new chapter in His redemptive plan by calling one man to walk by faith. We look at Abraham's calling, God's covenant promise, Abraham's moments of faith and failures, the long years of waiting, and the miraculous birth of Isaac. In reviewing Abraham's story, we see how it points beyond his personal journey towards God's greater plan of salvation through Jesus Christ. We'll discuss what it means to trust God when the future is uncertain, how God's timing often differs from our own, and when God's faithfulness is greater than our weaknesses. Join us as we explore the covenant that changed history and learn how Abraham's journey still speaks to us today.
