Beachcombing - Squid Eggs

On a recent Texas beachcombing walk, I stumbled across one of the ocean’s strangest treasures, a tangled mass of squid eggs, often called a “squid mop.” These mysterious bundles hold hundreds of developing squid, each one a tiny glimpse into life beneath the waves. In this video, Jace Tunnell takes a closer look at what these egg masses are, where they come from, and why they sometimes wash ashore along the Texas coast. Nature always has surprises waiting, you just have to keep your eyes on the tide line.
