WWII Bombardier on Precision Bombing Over Nazi Germany | 8th Air Force | Martin Raber
As World War II began to heat up Martin Raber knew he needed to join the fight. He left college and joined the Army Air Forces. Raber would train and become a bombardier in the 91st Bomb Group of the Mighty Eighth Air Force - the real 'Masters of the Air.' Raber would fly combat missions over Europe as lead bombardier in his squadron. He credits the famed Norden Bombsight that allowed for precision bombing on Nazi targets with helping to change the tide of the war.
