Newport County start off strong inside the first 10 minutes of the game by getting a goal in the 8th minute of the game scored by Nathaniel Opoku, Newport County manage to hold back Harrogate Town from scoring up until the 39th minute when Harrogate Town equalised by Harrogate player Jack Evans and ends as 1-1 for Half Time. In the second half both teams couldn't get passed each other until in the 59th minute Joe Thomas scores making it Newport County 2-1 Harrogate Town for Full Time and to win Newport County the game and also to keep Newport County out of the relegation zone with a 4 point gap as well.
