Before his one-way flight to the Philippines, OMNI News spoke with 'John,' a registered nurse at a Toronto hospital for a over a year, who fell out of status after exhausting avenues to become a permanent resident. Nurses advocates group say this would not have happened had employers provided enough support. Theresa Redula reports.
