Neto é preso suspeito de matar os avós em São João do Piauí; polícia investiga possível surto

An elderly couple was violently murdered inside their own home, located in the municipality of São João do Piauí. The main suspect in the crime is the victims' own grandson, who was arrested by authorities and suffers from schizophrenia, raising the possibility of a psychotic episode during the incident. During the investigation at the crime scene, a knife was found and is considered by forensics to be one of the possible instruments used in the double homicide. The case remains under investigation by the Civil Police, overseen by Chief of Police Luccy Keiko, to clarify all the circumstances of this family tragedy.
