Semarak Festival Hus Nde’o 2026

The Hus Nde'o Festival returned with a lively decorated horse parade in Tasilo Village, Loaholu District, on Thursday (July 9, 2026). A total of 300 participants took part in the decorated horse parade, showcasing equestrian performances that captivated thousands of visitors. This cultural festival of the Rote Ndao community aims to strengthen unity, promote the region's rich culture, and support the development of tourism and the creative economy. Rote Ndao Regent Paulus Henuk, SH, along with Deputy Regent Apremoi Dudelusy Dethan, and members of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) were also present to enliven the Hus Nde'o cultural festival. The festival was opened by Rote Ndao Regent Paulus Henuk, along with Deputy Regent Apremoi D. Dethan, who delivered opening remarks. Before the parade began, Rote Ndao Regent Paulus Henuk and members of the Forkopimda first tested the Hus Nde'o arena on selected horses prepared by the committee, followed by hundreds of participants who prepared to showcase their best performances.
