A pool's filtration system ensures that your water is always clean and healthy. I chose the most traditional system: a sand filter, but I replaced the sand with glass granules. The entire filtration process is relatively complex, as the system must draw water from the pool, filter and purify it, and return it to the pool. I also added an automatic regulator to maintain a stable pH.
