In this video, I'm going to show you around this 2004 Jeep Wrangler. A very special car to me. I'll start by giving you a little history about this brand and then move on to review the exterior of this vehicle. Then, we'll continue to look at the interior of this Jeep and see how "wild" it is inside, without many modern amenities. This car only gives you the basics, but this is another thing that makes it an extremely special vehicle in my opinion. Afterwards, I'll drive it on an open-air experience, which is one of the most interesting experiences you can have in any 4-wheel drive vehicle. Personal note (long story) This was the second video I made. And I made a lot of mistakes that I learned from. The most notable, for those who know me, was referring to myself in the third person, which I find quite comical now, since I am the owner of this Jeep Wrangler, and in this video I say "the owner of the car" several times just to distance myself as much as possible from the evaluation of this vehicle. Which, I find to be a rather peculiar and interesting mistake. Anyway, everything I say in this video remains true. I still think this particular Wrangler is extremely special. In case you're interested in the story of this specific jeep, MY Jeep Wrangler, here it is: I bought this Jeep in 2008, if I recall correctly, and I searched for almost two years. My requirements were: 6 cylinders and manual transmission. My budget at the time was $3,000. So, my first choice was actually a YJ so I could pay cash, but after test-driving several, I came across the sad reality that almost all $3,000 Jeep Wranglers were totaled. And so I started looking for TJs. Finally, after trying out many other...clunkers, I found a TJ with 60,000 miles, a manual, 6-cylinder, completely original, without any aftermarket additions. It was about an hour's drive from my house. I drove and arrived at the store around 4 p.m., and by 7 p.m. I had my new Jeep Wrangler. I bought it for almost $9,000 and had to pay monthly payments for four years. I've had this vehicle for over 10 years and have driven it over 80,000 miles in that time. It has never let me down or stranded on the road, and in my opinion, it's one of the best cars in existence in terms of reliability. Of course, maintenance is extremely important, but this vehicle is very easy to fix and maintain. It's one of my favorite cars, and every time I look at it and think about all the things I've done with this simple Jeep, it makes me smile. I don't think I could ever sell it, and on the rare occasions when that thought crosses my mind, my wife reminds me that I'd regret it if I did.
