WATCH: 140 mph police chase in Georgia ends with PIT maneuver
A chase in Jones County reached speeds of 140 mph last Tuesday, according to the sheriff’s office. The sheriff’s office said in a social media post that Sergeant Travis Walker tried to stop Demetric Bazi of Ellenwood for multiple active warrants. Bazi stopped at first, but drove away once her warrants were confirmed, the sheriff’s office said. The sheriff’s office posted a video that is almost seven minutes, showing the chase. During the chase, speeds reached up to 140 mph, “putting lives in danger,” they said in the social media post.
