He currently serves as an associate professor in charge of the Chair of Psychology of the Third Age and Old Age at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He has participated as a visiting professor at Latin American and European universities, has given lectures, and has published numerous research studies and articles in scientific journals on the topic of aging. He is the author of Projecting Life, the Challenge of Older Adults (2001), Eroticism and Old Age (2006), Identity and Aging (2011), and Power in Old Age (2013). He directs socio-community projects with older adults and posits that the body can be a source of pleasure at any stage of life. “We must connect with our most intimate pleasures so that from there we can open ourselves to others,” he says.
