The Zwölferhorn (in Austria) Cable Car Experience - Soaring Over Lake Wolfgangsee

Took a boat from St Wolfgang to St. Gilgen a picturesque Austrian village on the northwestern shore of Lake Wolfgangsee, then 5 minutes walk to the cable car at Zwoelferhorn. It's a great adventure! Enjoy a marvellous cable car ride through the clouds, feel like a free bird and enjoy the lake landscape and the fascinating mountain world from New cable cars in red and yellow colour with wonderful 360 degree view - nice and small (8 people max) you don't feel packed in. These new gondolas are very comfortable and considerably larger than the old ones. The 1,522-meter-high Zwölferhorn can be reached in just 11 minutes via the cable car. A nice cosy cafe, different options for mountain hikes at the top and stunning views make it all well worth a visit. The Zwölferhorn offers paragliders an absolute flying hotspot with fascinating, unforgettable views of the lake and mountain landscape of the Salzkammergut.
