I found these 1950s Locomotives Inside an Antique Store - Will Any Start?
Every year when I head on down to Maine I usually like to check out some of the antique stores located along route one. Most of these places have some model trains dating back over the years in various condition. This trip was no exception as I found many Lionel and American flyer trains, mostly from the 1950s. I ended up purchasing a couple of modern era Santa Fe units as well as a postwar GG1. The two Santa Fe locomotives seemed to run fine but the GG1 is gonna need some work before it can ride the rails again.
