Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway - Autumn Gala - 2025

In what has become a yearly tradition, a short trip to the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway, on the last day of British Summer Time. The Autumn Showcase is the railways big autumn weekend featuring an all GWSR resident line-up. Locomotives running were: GWR 3850, 7903 Foremarke Hall, 6880 Betton Grange, SR 35006 Peninsular & Oriental S. N. Co, BR 24081, BR 26043 and BR 20137 & 20228. Relaid on what was once the mainline between Cheltenham and Stratford upon Avon, the GWSR cuts along the west side of the Cotswolds. It features massive embankments, deep cuttings, pretty stations, and Stanmore Viaduct. But there’s very little elevation change. The real highlight of the weekend was the farewell to 35006 P&O, bowing out of service for a scheduled 10 year overhaul. This is one of those brilliant films I’ve really enjoy making, and I’d like to take the opportunity to say a massive thank you for watching this summer. Winter content soon!
