Director of the Ladies Professional Golf Association of Japan. She is the first Japanese golfer to hold both the Ladies Professional Golf Association Class A Teaching Professional title and the USLPGA T&CP Class A member title, the highest level for professional instructors. She has coached over 70,000 golfers to date. In 2005, she was selected as one of Weekly Golf Digest's "Top 100 Great Coaches." She discovered Pilates during injury rehabilitation and earned a Pilates instructor certification from Nevada State University. Drawing on her own experience, she combined golf and Pilates to create "Golf Pilates," which she incorporates into her golf lessons. She introduced Pilates to members at LPGA study sessions, incorporated it into her own golf lessons, and also provides instruction to tour professionals. In 2019, she was recognized by the LPGA for her significant impact on the golf industry through her ongoing efforts to promote Golf Pilates, receiving the LPGA Award for Golf Business.
