Waylon Jennings - great 5-min interview (1985)
This excellent interview with Nashville rebel Waylon Jennings dates from 1985. Waylon's storied career included (as bassist) giving up his seat to Buddy Holly on the fateful flight in 1959, then emerging as a country music star in the mid-1960's, to towering figurehead of the era-defining Outlaw movement in the 1970's. This clip (with wife Jessie Colter) precedes the Highwaymen years, Waylon as engaging as ever, a pioneer and massive talent who di things his way.
