Presentation: "How can ultrasound physicians practically apply the TI-RADS reporting system?" at the RP CANON MEDICAL SYSTEMS educational event on February 1, 2023. After the webinar, every physician will be able to easily classify any thyroid nodule according to the TI-RADS category, determine indications for nodule biopsy, and understand the differences between Russian clinical guidelines and European standards. The speaker will discuss the contribution of elastography and new SMI microcirculation technologies, as well as the capabilities of MicroPure microcalcification assessment for TI-RADS. Attendees will be introduced to the most typical ultrasound features of thyroid cancer and learn the criteria for developing the TI-RADS terminology protocol. The webinar also showcased a multiparametric approach using Canon medical technologies for assessing thyroid lesions. Today, a practicing ultrasound specialist must not only know but also be well-versed in the most common variants and features of this classification, data documentation, protocol development, and indications for thyroid biopsy.
