Growing up in a border town. (This is) My Town...This is a song that I wrote with my buddy of long standing, Paddy Goodwin. We are thrilled it has resonated with so many people. It's about 'My Town. ' It celebrates the people of Clones, past and present, who despite the adversity presented to them by virtue of the town's geographical location, have never bowed, or refused to believe that things can't get better. Locally, Clones has been dealing with similar situations to Brexit since the 1920's, so being in the eye of the storm will not be a new experience. Clones has always punched above it's weight making an extremely large impression on the rest of world via the Arts, Literature and Sports. We are proud of our town and it's fantastic community spirit.. This song is dedicated to our Parents.
