Работа украла мою жизнь. Я понял это поздно

When we say "we're short on money," we often overlook the most important thing: we have little time to live. In this video, I talk about the most important discovery I've made over the years: how to manage my time. For many years, I lived in a "five-day week + commute + overtime" mode, where work takes up not eight hours, but actually 12-13 hours a day, including the commute and thoughts about it. And I thought that's how it was supposed to be—kindergarten, school, college, work... the same old conveyor belt. Then my life changed dramatically: I left the corporate system for a few years and lived a different rhythm—working two or three days a week, leaving four days free. And here's the paradox: free time didn't immediately become a joy—I didn't know how to use it, felt guilty, and wanted to go back to a "normal" five-day week. But gradually, music, sports, learning, and hobbies appeared—and for the first time, I felt like my life was truly mine. And when I returned to an office job, it was a shock. There's hardly any time left for myself: evenings shrink to an hour and a half, mornings are no longer "my thing," weekends are consumed by chores, and eventually even money stops bringing joy—because there's no time to use it. Hobbies become mere props: the guitar gathers dust, interests fade, and life passes "near the props." At some point, I calculated the real cost of time: I divided my after-tax income by all the hours consumed by work, commuting, and stress—and saw the unpleasant truth. Then I began to change my approach: leaving on time, taking my lunch, scheduling two evenings just for myself, shifting my focus from work to life and projects. And this is precisely what gave me the feeling that I'm gradually breaking free from the old paradigm. Write in the comments: how much "me time" do you have per week? Do you have a "guitar on the wall," a "snowboard in the corner," a dream, or a project you just never get around to? Useful links: A SILENT EXIT FROM THE SYSTEM.
