«Сайра, бұлбұл» / Мерекелік гала-концерт

The Kazakh National University of Arts named after Kulyash Baiseitova held a festive gala concert entitled “Saira, Bulbul” on the occasion of University Day. The main idea of ​​the solemn evening was to glorify the personality of Kulyash Baiseitova, who has become a symbol of Kazakh vocal art, and to present the national musical heritage in a modern format. The concert was opened by the university anthem written by composer Kenes Duisekeev. During the evening, masterpieces of Kazakh classical and folk music were performed, including excerpts from the operas “Saira Bulbul”, “Bulbul”, “Kyz Zhibek”, and works by Nurgisa Tlendiev. The program was attended by the best students of the university, laureates of international competitions, as well as a symphony orchestra, an orchestra of folk instruments and a choir. The gala concert highlighted the continuity of national art and the academic school, revealing the creative potential of young artists.
